1 pound boneless pork top loin chops
3 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
2 tbsp. light butter
2 medium Granny Smith apple, sliced
In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, salt, pepper, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Place chops in hot pan, sprayed
with Pam® cooking spray. Cook for 5 to 6 minutes, turning occasionally, or until
done. Transfer to warm dish, and keep warm in oven.
Add butter to skillet, and stir in brown sugar mixture and apples. Cook until
apples are just tender.
Return chops to pan, spreading apples over chops. Optionally, sprinkle with
chopped pecans.
